Who am I?
Hello, I’m Dimitra Melanitis—an IT Swiss Army Knife used to adapting to different tools, teams and needs.
I’m a IT professional with a background in software engineering, functional analysis, and internal systems design.
For over a decade, I’ve specialised in bringing structure to complexity and creating solutions that people not only need—but actually want to use. My work has mostly been rooted in scientific and public service contexts, which shaped a structured, analytical approach—focused on clarity, rigour, and results that actually serve people.
I’ve worked on everything from automating data pipelines and writing user guides to building internal tools from scratch. I also coordinated projects when needed, helping align teams and keeping things moving. My focus is always on clarity, simplicity, and making things built to last.
